ขั้นตอนการอัพเกรด Endian จาก 2.3 ไปที่ 2.4.1 Just create a free Endian Community Account at
http://www.endian.org/register and you'll get the update instructions via E-Mail.
1. ให้ลงทะเบียนก่อนที่
http://www.endian.org/register เพื่อรับเมลตอบกลับจากเว็บหลังจากนั้นก็ให้เช็คเมลแล้วคลิกที่เมลตอบกลับโดย
http://validate.endian.com/confirm/uz8-y0r-ui4/เมลของเรา ก็จะได้หน้าที่มีข้อความดังนี้
# Enable SSH access on your firewall
# Open your favorite SSH terminal and connect to the firewall (On Windows you may use putty)
# If your Endian Firewall Community is older than version 2.2 please run
rpm -ivh
http://updates.endian.org/upgrade.rpm# Run the efw-upgrade script and follow the instructions (your email address is your username)
efw-upgrade
2. อาจจะใช้โปรแกรมรีโมตตัวไหนก็ได้หรือใช้ putty ที่มันให้โหลดก็ได้แล้วก็ใช้คำสั่งตามนั้นคือ
# rpm -ivh
http://updates.endian.org/upgrade.rpm กด Enter
# efw-upgrade กด Enter
ให้เลือกใส่เลข 1 เข้าไป แล้วก็ใส่
e-mail ที่เราใช้ลงทะเบียน กด Enter
รอสักครู่ให้ระบบมันอัพเดทเสร็จสิ้น รีสตาร์ทเซิร์ฟเวอร์สักรอบ
