ผมลองInstall ESXi4.1 บนเครื่อง PC HP PRO 3000MT ไม่สำเร็จครับ
Error ตามfileแนบเลยคาบ ไม่แนใจว่าเป้นเพราะ HW ไม่Support หรือปล่าวครับ ผมเช็คในlinkด้านล่างปล้วก็ไม่มีรุ่นนี้จริงๆ
อยากให้เพื่อนช่วยฟันธงหน่อยครับ

Enable Bios ให้เป็น Mode 64 Bit แล้วยังครับ

Mode 64 bit ปรับยังไงหรอคับ โทษทีนะคับ มือใหม่จิงๆ

ตอนนี้ลองลงเครื่อง
mainbord : p6t
CPU : i7 920@2.67
ram : 2 Gb
็HDD : Sata 160

พอลงแล้วขึ้นดังภาพข้างต้น เลยอยากรบกวน.. ต้องปรับ Bios ตรงไหนหรือป่าวครับ.

ลองเปิดตามขั้นตอนนี้นะครับ ดูว่าสามารถทำตามขั้นตอนนี้ได้ไหมนะครับ ..

How to enable 64-bit in BIOS on HP server
To be able to run 64-bit VM's in VMware ESX server, then Intel-VT technology needs to be enable in BIOS. Furthermore, to enable EVC (Enhanced VMotion Compability), No-execute memory feature should be enabled, see below.

1. Go to BIOS (press F9 during boot)
2. Go to Advanced Options -> Processor Options -> Intel ® Virtualization Technology
3. Choose Enable
4. Furtermore, to enable VMware EVC, enable 'No-Execute Memory Protection' (just above Intel-VT).
5. Save and exit

NB: All hosts in your cluster should have the same BIOS settings. If not, this can result in VMotion issues.

Installation of VMware ESXi 4 on ASUS P6T machine

The steps are easy. Just download the VMware esxi4 update 1 ISO and install on an USB thumb drive attached on the machine. The only stuff need to twist is the detection of the onboard Realtek 8111C NIC which the original esxi4 doesn’t support.

Following the instructions from http://www.vm-help.com/esx40i/customize_oem_tgz.php, I replaced the /bootbank/oem.tgz with the Realtek 8168 / 8111 NICs driver oem.tgz. The detection of the on board Realtek 8111C NIC works without problem after reboot. However, one glitch which I can’t solve is that the 8111 NIC can’t be configured to contain the management network VLAN under a trunk port. ping will work but the vsphere client connection never got any response. However, the NIC works without problem as a trunk port if it is configured to be used by a guest. Anyway, it is a minor problem and my redundant VMware ESXI 4 server is up and running without problem on a box with ASUS P6T MB+Intel Core i7 920

ลองลงผ่าน thumb drive ก็ยังขึ้นภาพตามนั้นอยู่ครับ ลองทั้งถอดฮาร์ดดิส Sata ออกหมดแล้ว CD ฺboot ก็ลองทั้งแบบ IDE และ Sata แล้ว
ลองเข้าเช็คใน Bios ในส่วน Intel ® Virtualization Technology ก็ Enable แล้วคับ ส่วน Intel-VT technology ก็ลองทั้ง Enable และ Disable แล้วก็ยังขึ้นภาพตามนั้นอยู่ครับ

แล้วก็ลองเลือกในส่วนของ storage ตรงส่วน config sata ก็ลองทั้งแบบ IDE และ AHCI แล้วก็ตาม ส่วนตรงที่ว่า Lan ไม่ support ผมก็ลองปิดค่า Lan แล้วก็ยังขึ้นดังภาพอ่ะครับ 

ยังไงรบกวนช่วยทีคับ.. เพราะลงทุนซื้อมาแล้ว แต่ถ้าลง server 2003 แล้วใช้ลงผ่าน Vmware work. ก็สามารถลง ESXI ได้นะครับ

ฟันธงเลยครับ เป้นที่การ์ด Lan ลองหาการ์ดที่ support ดูเพราะผมลองแล้ว ..
